My Initial SpinRewriter Review

I’ve just completed my first cycle of spinning an article with SpinRewriter. The process was pretty pain free once I got used to the controls. The claim to fame or hook of SpinRewriter is that it should produce quality automatic spins of your articles. I have found this to be true for the most part, however, it takes a certain writing style to achieve a high level of success. However, proofreading and updating is still necessary. I should also preface this by stating that I’ve never used The Best Spinner which is regarded by many to be awesome. Until now, I’ve used SpinnerChief II. (Wait, I meant to write The Best Spinner vs SpinRewriter. How’s that for SEO?)

Here’s a quick example (made up sentence, but there may be a niche site in finding trees):

This can help you find a tree. SpinRewriter produces (not all iterations):

  • This are able to aid you discover a tree.
  • This are able to help you locate a tree.
  • This can aid you find a tree.
  • This can assist you find a tree.
  • This can easily aid you discover a tree.
  • This can easily aid you locate a tree.
  • This can easily assist you find a tree.
  • This can easily help you locate a tree.
  • This can help you locate a tree.
  • This may help you identify a tree.

As you can see, there are issues with the “This are”. Also, most of the sentences won’t work. The only sentences that make sense are the ones that use “help”. I think this is due to the structure of the original sentence.

Now for a variation of the original sentence.

This can help in finding a tree. (Hopefully, this is somewhat grammatically correct)

  • This are able to aid in identifying a tree.
  • This are able to help in identifying a tree.
  • This can assist in identifying a tree.
  • This can easily aid in identifying a tree.
  • This can easily assist in identifying a tree.
  • This can easily help in finding a tree.
  • This can easily help in uncovering a tree.
  • This can help in identifying a tree.
  • This may aid in locating a tree.
  • This may assist in identifying a tree.
  • This may help in discovering a tree.

The “This are” issue pops up again, but other than that, the other versions work well.

This second example is more how I write. I tend to write straight and to the point. Whereas I’ve found that most of the content I’ve gotten from outsourcing (TextBroker, TheContentAuthority, iWriter, MyArticleExpress) falls in the first example area. I think this is because a) many writers write how they talk and b) they’re putting in these filler words to quickly meet the minimum word count.

In spinning my article, I did not use this auto spin option. Instead, I went through the process of spinning each word. The web interface did take a little to get use to. It does allow the use of keyboard shortcuts to skip forward and backward (Shift S & Shift A). One feature that I really liked is that for words with multiple meanings, it separates the synonyms into lists. This made choosing the right words much easier and quicker.

Another good feature is how it spins “a” and “an”.

The sentence “An awesome experience” is initially spun into this: “An {awesome|incredible|remarkable|spectacular|outstanding|amazing|fantastic|magnificent} experience”

Uh-oh. That’s not going to look good when unique articles are created. An spectacular? More like Un spectacular. However, this is just the second step. Once you’re done populating synonyms, there’s final step that the software  processes before giving the final spintax. What’s the final spintax look like?

  • {An awesome|An incredible|A remarkable|A spectacular|An outstanding|An amazing|A fantastic|A magnificent} experience

Everything’s nice and tidy.

One Final Test of the Autospin

Here’s a cleaned up version of what I wrote previously:

This second example is more how I write. I tend to write straight and to the point. Whereas I’ve found that most of the content I’ve gotten from outsourcing falls in the first example area. I think this is because many writers write how they talk and they’re putting in these filler words to quickly meet the minimum word count.

Here’s SpinRewriter’s AutoSpin (the first create unique text, other versions may be better):

This next instance is even more how I compose. I are inclined to create straight and to the point. Whereas I have definitely identified that most of the material I have certainly gotten from delegating slips in the 1st example spot. I think this is because numerous writers create just how they chat and also they’re investing these filler expressions to quickly comply with the minimum phrase count.

Is this worth the price?

That I’m not completely sure yet. I went through the 5 day trial and allowed it to go through purchasing the yearly option, $98.50, today only :) . I may ask for a refund before the 30 days are up. If I do, I will definitely update this post to reflect this.

UPDATE: I did ask for and receive a refund. Mainly due to the Penguin update. I’m not sure how much I’ll be spinning now.

The process did feel easier and smoother than using SpinnerChief, but it was only one time. However, since I did purchase SpinRewriter, psychology dictates that I justify the costs by making myself feel it truly is a  better product.

On their site, they have a few videos showing off the software but the true test is going through the 5 day trial. Also, the creator’s name is Jason. It’s not me.

Interesting. Still sounds like a lot of work proof reading and correcting etc.

Where would you be planning to use these spun versions?

Definitely still mind numbing work and like I said in the post, I still may request a refund and only use SpinnerChief. I’m using the spun versions with various software/sites. I plan on writing up my process tonight and posting as soon as I’m done. Though, I’ve not completed one cycle of the process yet so the post will be more of a “I think this is a good process” instead of hard facts. I see it costing me about $15 and 3 hours of time. It’s not a trailblazing process. Basically just maximizing my non site content.

I’ve only ever used The Best Spinner so can’t really compare it but some of the functionality you mention above does seem to be better than what The Best Spinner can do. I like the fact you can select the meaning of the word and also whether its A or An. Do you distribute the articles through article directories?

Thanks for visiting. I do submit the spins: first to TrafficKaboom and IMTalk, then later through Article Marketing Robot. Check out my most recent post on my current process. Let me know what you think.
